FAQ

Who are the instructors?

We are a team of experienced educational therapists and specialists serving students with a variety of learning differences and disabilities. The Clinicians at SfL are highly trained and experienced educators who are dedicated to serving students and assisting families. They have extensive training in evidence-based approaches, learning differences, disabilities, and challenges and use specific teaching methods to accommodate an individual’s learning style. They will also consider the impact of the student’s educational background, family, and community on the student’s learning, and incorporate psycho-educational and socio-emotional goals as well. Are sessions in-person or virtual?

We offer both in-person and interactive virtual sessions. There may be limited availability for in-person sessions so we recommend consulting with us regarding whether a hybrid or virtual learning model could be a good fit for your child. Not all virtual learning experiences are created equal and at Strategies for Learning, we are poised to provide a highly specialized level of interactive virtual learning! Examples of virtual interactive learning include multi-sensory activities, using an interactive online platform and/or physical materials, real-time lessons with direct teacher feedback, and hands-on games and activities.
