Clinician

Maleek earned his B.S. in Biology and a minor in Psychology from Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, MA, and an M.S. in Education with a focus on Inclusion from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN. Maleek has worked with elementary, middle, high, and adult education learners for more than 15 years. Maleek firmly believes that every student can learn. He has a passion for providing struggling students with the support, strategies, and encouragement necessary to experience academic success. 

Throughout his career, Maleek has served as a classroom teacher, lead teacher, behavior interventionist, and educational specialist with a strong passion for helping all students succeed. He has served students with various challenges such as executive functioning deficits, ADHD, behavioral issues, and dyslexia, as well as working with children on the autism spectrum. Additionally, Maleek has been extensively trained in Cooperative Learning Strategies and Differentiated Instruction. In addition to direct student contact, Maleek has provided IEP and 504 plan support to many families over the years. 

When Maleek is not working with students, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Together, they enjoy traveling, hiking, and games and look forward to biking. His hobbies include composing and arranging music, learning guitar, reading, and honing his IT skills.
