Stephanie Broytman

Stephanie Broytman, Director of Education

Stephanie holds a Master of Arts in Learning Disabilities from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education from Fredonia State. She is a certified special educator (Academic Language Therapist/ ALTA) with nearly 20 years of classroom experience in addition to the past several years spent finding new ways to engage students in virtual sessions. Currently, she is putting her extensive Orton-Gillingham training to use, providing therapy to students with dyslexia and dysgraphia, as well as instruction in other subjects for students with learning challenges.

As Director of Education, Stephanie Broytman plays a key role in leading and supporting many areas of Strategies for Learning. She helps guide student and clinician success by overseeing the intake process, ensuring strong student-clinician matches, and maintaining communication with families. Stephanie supervises clinicians, supports their professional growth, and helps keep our curriculum materials current and effective. She also contributes to outreach and partnerships with schools and professionals. In addition, Stephanie provides educational consulting, special education advocacy, assessments, and one-on-one academic support.

Apart from work, her young daughter Emily and wild housecat Pepper keep her on her Toes!
